GNOME is a graphical desktop environment for Unix/Linux Systems. It was originally developed as a set of image manipulation tools known as GIMP. This toolkit is now used in the development of applications for the GNOME environment. This page is aimed at a project to transform GNOME for Tamil usage.

If you would like to contribute to this effort, please contact Dinesh . You don't have to be a Unix geek to help. You can help even if you don't have a Linux machine. Please read GNOME-Tamil-HOWTO document to get started.
